Description: This feature class contains Ride-On bus stops created from the system's GTFS file downloaded on 6/14/2018 from http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/DOT-Transit/GTFS/GTFSfiles.html. This feature class is intended to provide applicants required to conduct a transit adequacy assessment as part of their transportation impact study a method to identify the unique ID of the particular transit stop(s) under study.
Description: This dataset represents Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) bus routes that serve Montgomery County. It includes regular and alternative pattern routes. This dataset was downloaded on 9/6/2018 from http://opendata.dc.gov/datasets/metro-bus-lines and all credit should be given to Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and D.C. Office of the Chief Technology Officer. The dataset was modified to remove WMATA routes that do not serve Montgomery County and remove certain columns.

Ride-On's GTFS file was downloaded on 12/02/2020 from http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/DOT-Transit/GTFS/GTFSfiles.html. WMATA GTFS file was downloaded on 12/03/2020 from https://www.wmata.com/about/developers/. Post processing steps identified bus stops serving both systems and identified the routes served by each stop.GISDB3 updated on 1/8/2021
