Layer: Master Plan Recommended Parks and Legacy Open Spaces (ID: 0)

Name: Master Plan Recommended Parks and Legacy Open Spaces

Display Field: PARK_NAME

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon

Description: The Master Plan Recommended Parks and Legacy Open Spaces layer consists of recommended parks and privately owned open spaces called POPS that have been approved in community master, minor master, sector, and functional plans as well as Legacy Open Space (LOS). The shapes indicate the parcel or general location of the proposed space. The shape is described in the table with a size, master plan designation, park classification and future owner associated with the shape (i.e., privately owned or public parks ownership). This layer will provide information to all who use it to identify properties that are recommended in master plans to become parks or open spaces in the future. This knowledge is needed when reviewing development review proposals, Master Plans and other park related planning efforts. This layer should be used to understand those properties currently identified as master plan recommended parks or open spaces.
